Lukas Radovich, a former star of Home and Away, confirmed his engagement to partner Liam Forcadilla.
After four years of dating Forcadilla, the actor—who portrayed Ryder Jackson on the Australian soap opera—announced on Instagram that they were moving on in their relationship.
Alongside a selfie of the happy pair, Radovich posted on Instagram, “The ring may not be a perfect fit, but we are.” Along with the caption, “My birthday present this year was a Fiancé,” Forcadilla included a picture of the couple.
Following Radovich’s announcement, his former co-stars sent congrats. Jackson Heywood, who starred in Brody Morgan, wrote: “Congratulations you bloody beautiful legends!!!” Very pleased for you!”
As Jasmine Delaney on the serial opera until 2022, Sam Frost added the following comment: “This is incredible news, congratulations beautiful humans xxxxx.”
In an interview from last year, Radovich discussed his sexuality and disclosed that he came out to his family prior to joining the soap opera in 2017. Radovich left the soap opera in 2022 after five years in the role.
“I firmly believe that in my early twenties, I was still coming into my own, and that now I feel secure enough to be able to discuss it,” the man stated. “For me, the past five years have been a really significant trip.
“First, the show, but also developing my sense of self—basically, just being at ease, I suppose. I’m an introverted, timid person by nature, therefore it takes me some time to warm up to conversations.
“And after that, there was no problem at all. Actually, I introduced [Liam] to my parents first; it was my way of telling them.”
