Felix Dean, a former child star on Home and Away, has been arrested for allegedly assaulting someone.
Between 2007 to 2014, the actor played VJ Patterson before being replaced by Matthew Little, who performed the character until his final appearance in 2018.
The 24-year-old actor was already on bail following two incidents earlier this year, according to the Mail Online.
Dean reportedly assaulted a tobacco store employee on Monday night (October 11), according to the newspaper. Officers charged him with affray, assault causing serious bodily harm, stealing, and failing to appear in court. The accused victim was treated for minor head injuries immediately after the claimed assault.
Dean was charged with intent to rob, common assault, and damaging property for an alleged incident with a taxi driver in January, according to Mail Online. Dean “became violent” while resisting an arrest in September, and was charged with intent to rob, common assault, and damaging property for an alleged incident with a taxi driver in January.
He is accused of violating bail terms such as a tight 6 p.m. curfew and random drug and alcohol testing. He was allegedly denied bail to appear in court on Tuesday following the latest alleged incident.
Dean was nominated for Best Young Actor at the Inside Serial Awards in both 2008 and 2009 during his tenure on the Australian soap.
Since leaving Home and Away seven years ago in 2014, he hasn’t had any significant acting jobs. He has previously starred in a number of episodes of the Australian television series Comedy Inc.
